Train tickets

Drops of Jupiter, one of Train's flagship tracks, is turning 25, and the band's hitting the road to celebrate! This is the perfect opportunity to take your soul sister by the hand and lead her out to the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre on Saturday, July 11th. It's going to be a night to remember, filled with 2000s rock by some of the best performers from that era.

Joining Train are the Barenaked Ladies. You might want to dust off that burnt CD where you had a stored copy of "One Week" from this band to make sure that you can get in the right groove leading up to this performance. Matt Nathanson is also going to take the stage, and he's going to encourage you to "Come On Get Higher." Don't take it literally, though; in the 2000s, those words were still used for a love song.

Drops of Jupiter 25 Years in the Atmosphere

Train fans were probably very surprised by the news that they were hitting the road with such an extensive tour. Although the band was able to find some success in the 2010s with the California 37 album, most of their hits come from their work in the 2000s. Let's be real, most of the bands from that era aren't hitting the road. When they are, they aren't bringing their music to venues like the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. All of this just means that it could be your last chance to experience a live rendition of Drops of Jupiter!

Train Is Not Only Offering Nostalgia, But Music Fest Vibes

The band has actually been releasing new music rather recently. That's not all that common for a 2000s rock band. However, the excuse for the tour provides a big hint into what their intentions are for this night in Georgia. One of the coolest things about the entire performance is that you'll have massive music fest vibes. Both Barenaked Ladies and Matt Nathanson will have a decent time on stage. Enough to get a sense of emotion or even the more upbeat vibes that Barenaked Ladies bring to the performance. You're at an open venue, it's just like coming to a music fest without the grind that some of the events turn into.

Your Day at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre

Do you want to be jumping up and down with beach balls flying over your head? No word yet on the beach balls, but with the type of music that's going to be coming from those speakers, they just seem like an obvious fit. You can have that experience right next to the stage with almost direct eye contact with the band. If you decide that you want to sit further away, try to stay close to the center of the venue and maybe spot some of the exits so that you can craft your route out to the concession stands. It's going to be a long day; you're going to refuel or empty the tank. Keep that in mind!
