The BARBIE™ THE MOVIE: IN CONCERT™ tour kicks off this July, hopping across 37 cities in North America. Fans across the country are set to be transported to Barbie Land amidst the summer heat. Projecting the award-winning movie on a giant LED screen, the Sinfonietta will gracefully bring its award-winning score to life. This immersive experience will surely be a treat to families and friends who'll come together to celebrate the power that women hold. The tour will also feature limited-edition merchandise up for grabs... and of course, every corner of Barbie Land is an Instagram photo shoot opportunity!
"Audiences of all ages flocked to theaters last summer to celebrate the joy of the Barbie movie together, Josh Silverman, chief franchise officer at Matter, shared in a statement. "Now fans have the opportunity to further celebrate Barbie with an unforgettable live musical experience, led by an incredibly talented all-women orchestra.
Bringing a world-class orchestra led by astounding female musicians, the whole show is set to be an empowering night for all attendees. The blockbuster film has received over 460 nominations and 120 wins, including 8 Academy Award nominations. Its music was also nominated for 11 Grammy Awards, winning three categories including Song of the Year, Best Song Written for Visual Media, and Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media. An award-winning film and an award-winning score, it's all coming to life led by amazing women in the industry.
