Prolific indie rock outfit from Sheffield, Arctic Monkeys, released their latest highly-acclaimed album, The Car, last October 2022. The seventh studio effort, in which frontman Alex Turner mostly wrote the tracks, spawned two hit singles, “There’d Better Be A Mirrorball” and “Body Paint.” The band also made an appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where they performed “Body Paint.” The album, produced in collaboration with the band’s longtime producer James Ford, resonated well with music critics and fans, much like their previous release, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. The 2018 album topped the charts in several countries, including the U.K. and Australia. In the U.S., the Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200 and topped the U.S. rock charts. The album featured two hits, the title track and “Four Out of Five.”

In 2013, Arctic Monkeys became one of the most revered indie rock bands after the release of their fifth studio album, AM. The record earned five-time platinum status in the U.K. and went platinum in the U.S., Australia, Italy, and New Zealand. AM was preceded by six hit singles, including “R U Mine?” “Do I Wanna Know?” and “Why’d You Call Me Only When You’re High?” The album and Arctic Monkeys’ earlier releases have changed how music listeners find music. The band is one of the first indie acts to amass a massive fanbase through the Internet.

If you’re keen on seeing Arctic Monkeys, you should secure your tickets now to their show at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre! Access to their concert at the iconic outdoor venue on Monday, 11th September 2023, is now available!
